What is Scoir?
Scoir (pronounced "Score") is an interactive and student-centered college-search platform. THS exclusively utilizes Scoir to send vital documents to colleges and universities, however, this is one of many things that our students use Scoir for. Students have access to important information pertaining to their schools of interests such as: admissions data, "Scattergrams" and deadline dates. Search engines afford students the opportunity to input criteria and characteristics (such as location, academic programs, etc.) in order to generate lists and find schools that meet their personal needs. Scoir also allowes students to collaborate with their parents/guardians and school counselors. Finally, Scoir's Career tab allows students to take a Career Interest Assessment, which will only strengthen their own sense of self and empower students to understand more about how their interests can manifest into a particular profession.
